Refund policy

Returns

We can offer a full refund if you return the item within 14 days of purchase. If an item is faulty or not as described then we offer free return delivery, however if you are returning an item for any other reason then you must post the item yourself or return it to one of our stores (use our store locator to find your nearest store).

Please return unwanted items to the following address with the Packing Slip enclosed: Unit 13 Olympic Court, Whitehills Business Park, Blackpool, FY4 5GU.

All returns are processed within 5 working days of arriving at our warehouse. As a small team, we're unable to check returns as soon as they're delivered, so we aren't able to confirm receipt before then. If you've not heard from us once those 5 working days have passed, do get back in touch and we'll be glad to help.

Once your refund has been processed, please allow up to 10 working days for it to reach your account, depending on your bank's processing times. It's usually much quicker than that, but 10 working days is the general timeframe banks give us.

If you'd like to follow your parcel back to us, we'd advise sending it with a tracked service. It isn't required, but it's the only way to confirm when it reaches us, as tracking is the sender's responsibility. Please do keep your proof of postage either way.

In the interests of hygiene we do not offer refunds on pierced jewellery, unless they are of unsatisfactory quality or unfit for purpose. Please also note that items must be returned with all of the barcode tags intact and with the despatch note you received enclosed.

If you are returning pieces of artwork for any reason other than damage then please return within 7 days of receipt with your delivery invoice, at your own cost and we will gladly refund your payment. All art must be returned in perfect sale-able condition.

The original cost of the outbound postage will also be refunded, if applicable.

There are certain situations where only partial refunds are granted: (if applicable)
Book with obvious signs of use
CD, DVD, VHS tape, software, video game, cassette tape, or vinyl record that has been opened.
Any item not in its original condition, is damaged or missing parts for reasons not due to our error.
Any item that is returned more than 30 days after delivery

Refunds (if applicable)
Once your return is received and inspected, we will send you an email to notify you that we have received your returned item. We will also notify you of the approval or rejection of your refund.
If you are approved, then your refund will be processed, and a credit will automatically be applied to your credit card or original method of payment, within a certain amount of days.

Late or missing refunds (if applicable)
If you haven’t received a refund yet, first check your bank account again.
Then contact your credit card company, it may take some time before your refund is officially posted.
Next contact your bank. There is often some processing time before a refund is posted.

Exchanges (if applicable)
We only replace items if they are defective or damaged. If you need to exchange it for the same item, send us an email at hello@roomlytham.co.uk 

Shipping
To return your product, you should mail your product to: Unit 13 Olympic Court, Whitehills Business Park, Blackpool, FY4 5GU

You will be responsible for paying for your own shipping costs for returning your item. Shipping costs are non-refundable. If you receive a refund, the cost of return shipping will be deducted from your refund.

Depending on where you live, the time it may take for your exchanged product to reach you, may vary.

If you are shipping an item,  you should consider using a trackable shipping service or purchasing shipping insurance. We don’t guarantee that we will receive your returned item.

Returning in person? You're very welcome to bring your online order back to our Lytham shop. Simply return your items to us with your packing slip enclosed, within 14 days of receiving your order. Please note that purchases made in store follow a separate process — the current in-store return rules are displayed in the shop and printed on your receipt, so do check there for anything you've bought with us in person.
